The Galloway ShopRite on 401 South Pitney Road has issued a voluntary recall of all store made meat produced and sold on Wednesday.
"There is the possibility that these products may contain small pieces of the black tray lining pad used in the packaging,” said a release from the company.
The recalled meat includes ground beef and meatloaf mix but all other meat products are unaffected.
The company said the pieces do not pose an immediate health risk if ingested, but wanted people to be aware of the situation. The company said no injuries have been reported.
The store will refund or replace any purchased made Wednesday. The company said they alerted Price Plus customers who purchased the meat.
This only affects the Galloway ShopRite.
