Galloway police report a man attempted to abduct a 14-year-old girl this morning.
Police said a Hispanic male in his mid 30s approached the Galloway teen at Route 9 near Chanese Lane at 8:30 a.m. in a black BMW 4-door sedan, police said in a statement.
The suspect had a brief struggle with the girl – injuring her foot – and then drove off, police said.
The man is described as between five-feet four-inches and five-feet six-inches tall, with a stocky build, short-cropped black hair and a mustache and goatee, police said. He was wearing jeans and a blue jacket, police said.
