A tip from the FBI led to the arrest of a man hours after an armed robbery attempt at the CVS at 6056 Harding Highway in Mays Landing, police said.
Scott Christian, 49, of Somers Point, was arrested at his home by Hamilton Township police with assistance from Somers Point police.
The weapon used during robbery was recovered at the time of the arrest, police said.
The man is accused of having a handgun and demanding cash during the attempt at about 12:40 p.m. Saturday.
Christian was being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $75,000 full cash bail.
