Meadowview Nursing Home has been found “deficiency-free” in its annual inspection by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, according to a release from Atlantic County.

The state gave a surprise inspection to the 180-bed long-term-care and rehabilitation facility on Dolphin Avenue in Northfield earlier this month and all aspects of the organization were examined.

"Meadowview has earned a perfect score, and I could not be more proud of its staff nor more pleased for its residents," said County Executive Dennis Levinson in a statement. "This exemplary evaluation confirms the outstanding quality of care and strict compliance with regulations that has to be very reassuring to family members who have entrusted us with the care of their loved ones."

This was the first deficiency-free rating in recent memory, the facility reported.
