Most parks in southern New Jersey have reopened, including Belleplain State Forest in Dennis Township, Cape May Point State Park in Lower Township and Wharton State Forest in Hammonton.

The state also reopened the Forked River State Marina in Ocean County.

The state parks were closed Oct. 28 and began reopening on a case-by-case basis after the storm.

The Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge in Galloway Township remains closed both to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The park’s dike roads were severely damaged by the storm and are missing in places.

Likewise, Island Beach State Park remains closed indefinitely.
