One of two shot in Atlantic City released from hospital

One of two men wounded in Friday night’s shooting in Atlantic City has been released from the hospital.

Police have not released the names of the two Atlantic City residents who were shot, but said a 24-year-old resident who was grazed in the back had been treated and released.

A 26-year-old man who was found in the 900 block of New York Avenue shot twice in the hip area underwent surgery at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, city campus, in Atlantic City.

No suspect information was available.

Anyone with information about the shooting, which happened about 9 p.m. in the 500 block of North Kentucky Avenue, is asked to call police at 609-347-5766.
