Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Atlantic, Cape May counties Staff reports The Press of Atlantic City Media Group
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southern AtlanticCounty and Northern Cape May County until 11 p.m. Sunday.
National Weather Service radar indicated that the severe storm could bring damaging winds of 60 miles per hour. Just before 10 p.m. the storm was located 17 miles southeast of Millville and was moving east at 30 miles per hour.
People are urged to move indoors immediately. The storm is expected to bring frequent lightning.
