Six people were injured in a Galloway Township motor vehicle accident Thursday evening.

Police said two vehicles collided at Route 9 and Somers Landing Road at 5:53 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Madeline Perez, 32, of the Bronx, N.Y., made a left turn onto Route 9 in front of a vehicle driven by Ryan Tarby, of Galloway, who was unable to avoid the collision, police said.

Six people in Perez’s car were injured – including Perez and a 3-year-old and 6-year-old. They were all taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus with various injuries.

Police are still investigating the accident and so far no summonses have been issued.
