ATLANTIC CITY - The Langford administration suspended a city employee indefinitely Thursday after state authorities brought voter-fraud charges against her earlier this week.

Kevin Hall, a spokesman for Mayor Lorenzo Langford, confirmed that Toni Dixon, a clerk in the city's Landlord-Tenant Affairs Office, left work Thursday morning after receiving a letter notifying her of her suspension.

The state Attorney General's Office arrested Dixon and Michele Griffin on Tuesday on fraud and tampering charges, alleging the two delivered completed messenger ballots to the county that were never used by the intended voter. The two were working to benefit Councilman Marty Small, Mayor Lorenzo Langford's opponent in the June Democratic primary.

Dixon turned herself in Tuesday at the State Police barracks along the Atlantic City Expressway. Griffin was arrested Tuesday morning at her Pleasantville home and has since been released on bond. Their arrests were the fourth and fifth amid an ongoing state investigation into the absentee ballots.

Hall said Dixon is suspended without pay until her charges reach some sort of conclusion.

Dixon, reached on her cell phone Thursday, declined to comment.

Langford owes most of the money he stole from us so far to voter fraud, when he was Craig Callaway's boy, kissing Craig booty, then stupidly screws him. When you are partners in crime, like voter fraud, like Langford and Callaway, you shouldn't cheat your cohort. Langford is a thief, a voter fraud conspiritor, and a racist. He is evil incarnate.

"Whistleblower", Great post !!! However "buses" will be coming in large amounts, not just to AC but to other neighboring municipalites. When Chris Christie wins in November, they will not only be visiting AC, and yes a lot of buses will be needed.
