  • The music, dance and song ensemble Barynya, of New York City, is a world-renowned group that is regarded by some as the premier Russian folk ensemble outside of Russia. • The Jade River Dance Company is comprised of preteen girls of Asian heritage in southern New Jersey. The group will perform an entertaining array of folk dances Aug. 12 while wearing traditional Chinese costumes.
  • Island Jam presents hula girls gracefully dancing to slow and relaxing Polynesian music, and then turns up the heat and energy, pounding away on the drums as the male members perform a warrior dance or sensational fire dancing exhibition. Look for them Aug. 19.
  • Vongku Pak Korean Drum and Dance Troupe will wrap up the series Aug. 26 with the playing of the suljanggu, the distinctive Korean drum that has become a signature instrument in traditional music.
