Caesars Entertainment will present a $150,000 donation today to the American Red Cross Southern Shore Chapter today.

Don Marrandino, Caesars' Easter Division President, will present a check at noon today to the chapter's Major Gifts Officer Yvette Soto in the lobby of the Claridge on behalf of the company's four local properties: Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah's Resort, Bally's and Showboat, according to a statement released Tuesday by the company.

The properties reopened 2 p.m. Nov. 2 after closing during a mandatory evacuation of all barrier islands for Hurricane Sandy. The evacuation of Atlantic City - and shutdown of its gambling industry - lasted five days, the longest-ever enforced closure of the town and its casinos.
