Horseback riding will return to the Atlantic City beaches Friday.

Hurricane Sandy delayed the original Nov. 1 start date. The beach was back to normal, however, during a practice session Wednesday for horses and their handlers, said Pearl Epps Running Deer.

“People didn’t know we were there (Wednesday), and we were just out there a few hours, but they just loved it,” she said. “They wanted pictures with the horses, with the beach backdrop. People said they’ll be back over the weekend.”
