ATLANTIC CITY- Police released a photo today for a suspect in an armed robbery Sunday on the boardwalk.

Police responded at the Johnny Rockets restaurant at Bally's at 3:55 a.m. where the restaurant manager said she had been robbed by a masked man.

The man knocked on the rear door of the restaurant claiming he was "Bally's security," police said. The manager said he held a handgun against her forehead and ordered her to open the safe and transfer the money into deposit bags, which he put into a backpack.

The manager's hands and feet were tied, while the suspect fled on a bike heading north toward Pacific Avenue, police said. She was eventually able to free herself and call police.

The man is described as tall, about 5 feet 8 inches, with a medium build, wearing khaki pants, black gloves, a black baggy coat and black slip-resistant shoes.

Police are also searching for an accomplice, who may have brought the bicycle.

Anyone with information can contact police anonymously by calling Crimestoppers, at (609) 652-1234, or texting to 847411 (TIP411) and beginning the text with ACPD.

Information can also be given to Det. Charles Stuart or any member of the Criminal Investigations Section by calling (609) 347-5766.
