Coast Guard officials are in Cape May this morning, investigating how a ferry boat ran aground Thursday evening.

Coast Guard officials say the the Cape May-Lewes Ferry boat ran aground and safely refloated without any damage or injuries. The investigation will focus on what caused the accident -- and to make sure no one was breaking safety measures.

There's no word on which direction the boat was headed, or how many people were on-board.
