OCEAN CITY - The city will celebrate an Eagles-green Christmas on Friday.

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Akeem Jordan will light the city's Christmas tree at 4:30 p.m. Friday outside City Hall.

The tree-lighting will cap an "old-fashioned Christmas" celebration in the resort's downtown, with children's train rides courtesy of Gillian's Wonderland Pier, photos with Santa Claus in an Ocean City Beach Patrol lifeboat and carriage rides.

The city's celebration runs from noon to 6 p.m.
