OCEAN CITY - Nobody came forward Wednesday to claim a prize offered by Ocean City for a long-lost bottle that was part of a 1985 summer contest in the resort.

Ocean City is trying to track down Heidi Kay Werstler, a Pennsylvania contestant in the city's Message in a Bottle Contest. The 1985 summer contest promised a prize to the summer vacationer whose message in a bottle traveled farthest on the Atlantic Ocean tides.

Werstler's bottle went unfound for 24 years until it washed up last week on a beach in Duck, N.C.
