CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE - A grand jury has indicted Middle Township resident Shantelle Harris and her brother Tyrone Harris on first-degree manslaughter charges in the March stabbing death of Donnie Terrell Moore.

Moore, 38, was stabbed twice at about 10 p.m. March 20 at his home on the 100 block of West Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood. He died about an hour later at Cape Regional Medical Center.

An autopsy, performed the next day at Shore Memorial Hospital by Dr. Margaret Prial, found Moore died of a perforated lung. The manner of death was deemed a homicide.

Moore was stabbed twice, once in his neck and once in his back, which perforated his lung.

According to the indictment, which was handed up last week, Shantelle Harris, 29, and Tyrone Harris, 33, each is charged with aggravated manslaughter, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful

purpose.

The grand jury also charged Tyrone Harris with two counts of hindering his or his sister's apprehension, tampering with evidence and being a certain person not to possess a weapon.

The last charge stems from Tyrone Harris' previous drug convic-

tion.

Shantelle Harris remained lodged in the Cape May County Jail on Tuesday afternoon in lieu of $500,000 bail, while her brother is being held on $100,000 bail.

Shantelle Harris was on parole for simple assault at the time of the stabbing.

Police have not discussed a possible motive for the stabbing, but police said Shantelle Harris and Moore had a child together.
