Monday’s temperatures were a welcome break from a stretch of cold weather, but it was nowhere near a record.

Temperatures reached a high of 75 degrees at the Atlantic City International Airport in Egg Harbor Township, according to the National Weather Service. But the high for April 8 was 87 degrees in 1991.

Temperatures are expected to remain in the 70s for most of this week, until a cool down over the weekend drops the high into the 50s.
