OCEAN CITY — Police are asking for help identifying a man who stole cash Friday from Playland’s Castaway Cove on the Boardwalk.

The man was recorded on store cameras taking money from a deposit bag left unattended, Capt. Steve Ang said. Playland was open for a ticket sale at the time, he said.

“During the end of the day, they had a bag that contained some cash on the counter,” Ang said. “One of the customers went into the bag and took out some cash.”
