Two families, totaling six people, were displaced after a fire damaged the second story of a Millville duplex Monday night.
Acting Capt. Dean Inferrera said 25 firefighters responded to the location on Oak Street at 6:15 p.m. The fire was contained to one room but the area suffered heavy damage from the blaze, he said.
A family of four and a family of two people were displaced and the American Red Cross provided them with lodging vouchers, he said.
The fire was out in two hours and the cause is undetermined, he said. No injuries were reported, he said.
