A Manahawkin man was arrested Thursday in connection with four burglaries in the Ocean Acres section of Stafford Township.

Police said in a news release that Dominic Serpineto, 20, of Manahawkin, was arrested after attempting to use a stolen ATM card at a Wawa store and was identified through photographs. Serpineto allegedly burglarized three parked cars and a house. During an investigation, police recovered electronic items from Serpineto's home, including cell phones, iPods, mp3 players and GPS systems. All of the items are believed to have come from other burglaries that may not have been reported yet, police said.

Residents are asked to report any thefts of similar items from their vehicles or residences. The incidents are believed to have occurred in Ocean Acres.

Serpineto was lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of bail set at $20,000 with no 10-percent option.
