Snow and freezing rain are expected to affect travel Monday, causing difficulties during the morning and evening commuting hours in Atlantic and Cumberland Counties.
Rain is expected to start in the early morning, which will change to sleet and brief. But heavy, wet snow, about one-to-three inches, will begin in the area sometime after noon, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather service is warning drivers to be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility in and afternoon, and to bundle up, as temperatures are expected to be in the lower 30s.
