Clean-Up AC: Individuals and businesses are needed to volunteer to pick up litter and debris around the city from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 21 as part of Earth Day events hosted by Tanger Factory Outlet Centers and the ThisIsAC community movement. Volunteers will be able to pick up trash bags and maps at the Noyes Arts Garage. For more information, call 609-872-7002.

Earth Day Cleanup with Pleasantville Police Explorers and the Travis Manion Foundation. The City of Pleasantville’s Police Explorers Program, along with the Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) and New Jersey State Police are looking for volunteers in the Earth Day cleanup. At 9 a.m., join at the Pleasantville Recreation Center at 400 Brighton Avenue. Supplies will be provided. Volunteers can call police Capt. James Williams, the leader of the Police Explorers program, at 609-484-3648 for details.

Mays Landing: 2:30p.m. on Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Andrew Bowling and Matt Henry will perform their original song – “Oh! How loving is the soil!” with the Choral Arts of Southern New Jersey choir. After performing, the choir members will plant their song sheets made out of wildflower seeds.
