BUENA — State Police are investigating the cause of a single-car crash involving a trooper.

At 8:45 p.m. Thursday, a trooper was responding to a call along Route 619 when he lost control of his car and ran off the road, Sgt. Lawrence Peele said.

The trooper’s car hit a pole, but he was not injured, Peele said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
