HERE COMES THE WEEKEND: Enjoy it with wine tasting and college basketball

It's a weekend long opportunity to live like you were in the movie "Sideways" as the Garden State Wine Growers Association offers its Winetrail Weekend.

Participating wineries include Bellview Winery in Landisville; Coda Rossa in Franklinville; Natali Vineyards in Cape May Court House; Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City; DiMatteo Vineyards, Tomasello and Plagido's wineries, all in Hammonton; Swansea Vineyards in Shiloh; Cape May Winery & Vineyard in Cape May; and Hawk Haven Vineyards in Rio Grande. All the wineries on the trail will be open from noon to 5 p.m. today through Sunday for education, tasting and tours. Most charge a fee for wine tastings and some for tours. _ Make time for basketball this weekend as the Legends Classic tournament takes over Boardwalk Hall Friday and Saturday. Participating teams include Michigan State, Rutgers, Florida and UMass. Tickets are $10, $25, $50 and $125. Go to www.boardwalkhall.com

_ Comedian Robin Williams brings his wild show to the Event Center at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa this weekend, but you are going to have to pay. Tickets for his show at 8 p.m. Saturday are $175, $195 and $245. Call 800-298-4200.

_ The Egg Harbor Township police department opens its doors for the annual PAL Family Fun celebration. This year's event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the PAL building, 2590 Ridge Ave. This year's event includes family activities, a demonstration by motorcycle free stunt expert Michael Angerman Jr. and music from No Pressure. Admission is free.

_ Violin virtuoso Itzhak Perlman brings classical music to Resorts Atlantic City on Saturday with a 8 p.m. show. Tickets cost $65 to $125. Call 800-736-1420.

_ Expect big hair, tattoos and plenty of rockabilly action as the Brian Setzer Orchestra rumbles into Trump Taj Mahal for its annual Christmas Extravaganza. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $69.50 and $79.50. Call 609-449-1000.

_ Expect to see some screaming teens at the Trump Taj Mahal Sunday as the boy band Aventura hits the stage at the family friendly hour of 6 p.m. Tickets are $65, $85 and $105 and are available at www.ticketmaster.com.
