ATLANTIC CITY — The Boardwalk was filled with pink Friday to kick off the city’s summer concert series.
Dozens of people lined the Boardwalk, some dressed in pink, for the longest ribbon-cutting in the city’s history. The event kicked off summer activities at noon, ahead of Pink’s beach concert July 12.
Summer is here and South Jersey is in full “concert mode.”
Two tram cars on each end of the Boardwalk unfurled a pink ribbon, and Mayor Don Guardian cut it in front of Bally’s Atlantic City.
Brantley Gilbert is scheduled to follow Pink on the beach July 13, and Ruff Ryders and Friends will perform Aug. 3.
