WILDWOOD - Two city men were charged with theft and burglary after they allegedly tried to take copper pipe out of City Nightclub on Pacific Avenue.

Police said Jonathan J. Chester, 31, and James D. Anthony, 20, both of Wildwood, were arrested at the nightclub where police allegedly found them removing copper pipe from the building.

Chester worked in maintenance while Anthony was unemployed, police said.

Both were charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools. Anthony was lodged at the Cape May County jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail set by Municipal Court Judge Christopher Robertson. Chester was released on a court summons.
