ATLANTIC CITY - The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office has identified the man killed in a two-vehicle collision early this morning.

Galloway Township resident Nicholas Ingargiola, 24, was killed when the vehicle he was riding in struck another vehicle at the intersection of Massachusetts and Grammercy avenues at about 3:17 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene after being extricated from the vehicle.

Atlantic City resident Ishiah L. Monroe, 22, was driving the vehicle. He and rear-seat passenger Theodore Miller III, of Winchester, Va. were transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus for treatment.

Miller remains at the hospital, where a staff member said he is in good condition. No information on Monroe's condition was released.

The driver and sole occupant of the second car, Vong Doan, was uninjured and declined medical treatment.

Monroe's vehicle was wrapped around a pole, and firefighters were called to help free the three passengers inside, Fire Chief Dennis Brooks said.

An autopsy is being scheduled. No motor vehicle violations or criminal charges have been filed.

The accident remains under investigation.
