A Vineland man was arrested on charges of assault by auto, driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to wear a seat belt after a a four-vehicle crash Monday, Vineland police said in a press release Thursday.

The crash at North Delsea Drive and West Park Avenue injured two occupants of the other vehicles involved, with one victim taken to Inspira Health Network for medical evaluation, police said.

Walter Anielewski, 51, of Vineland, failed field sobriety tests and was arrested under suspicion of being intoxicated, police said. Breath samples were twice the legal limit, police said.

Anielewski, who was released from custody, will appear in Superior Court in Bridgeton, according to police. No date had been set.
