CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A video of a Carolina Panthers fan punching a man in the stands at their home game Thursday night against the Philadelphia Eagles has gone viral.

A man named Warren C. posted the video to his Instagram account @odubco.

According to the post, both the man doing the punching and the man who was punched were Panthers fans.

The man who threw the punch and his girlfriend were allegedly standing in front of the man who was punched for the duration of the game.

"The dude took offense to the couple never sitting down and obstructing his view," Warren C. wrote in his Instagram post. "The victim telling the dude bro how they're being jerks and how rude they are for not sitting."

The man who threw the punch allegedly called the other man various names before punching him in the face.
