A winter storm warning is in place for most of South Jersey. Four to 7 inches is expected in areas east of the Garden State Parkway and 2 to 4 inches west of the parkway.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Atlantic, Cape May and Ocean counties beginning at 9 p.m. Wednesday and ending 7 p.m. Thursday. A winter weather advisory has been issued for Cumberland County for that same time period.
Snow starts around midnight. Winds will be strong during the event, with blowing and drifting snow likely. Brief whiteout conditions are possible along the Jersey Shore.
