ANTINOZZI, JOHN 78 - of Lincroft, passed away on Saturday April 5, 2014 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. John was born and raised in Red Bank. He was a graduate of Red Bank High School. John was a veteran of the US Navy serving from 1955-1957. After John's military service he began his career in the food service industry. He worked as a waiter and bartender at Sal's Tavern, Red Bank then he became food service director at Brookdale Community college for over ten years and moved to Orlando, FL to be director of food service for Howard Johnson's until 1984 when he returned to New Jersey. John was an avid reader and an exceptional cook and he loved to cook for his family. He was very proud of his grandchildren and followed all their athletic achievements by attending as many of their games as he could. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Angelina Antinozzi; five sisters, Mary Trocchia, Florence Karas, Laura Gettis, Eleanor Setaro and Rose Scarpino; a brother, Raymond Catalano; a grandchild, Emma Grace Buck. He is survived three daughters, Eva and her husband, Ken Mulhern of Egg Harbor Twp, NJ, Sonora Foster of Wall and Lorraine Buck of Hebron KY. He is survived by a brother, Izzy Catalano and his wife, Nancy of Coco Beach, FL; two sisters, Barbara McAuliffe of Eatontown and Joan Stoothoff of Overland Park, KS; 12 grandchildren, John, Alicia, Brittany, Sean, Garrett, Andrew, Kyle, Grant, Blake, Adam, Jena and Mason; three great- grandchildren, Talia, Dominic, Jr. and Regan. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Thursday April 10 from 12 noon to 2 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. A funeral service will be here on Thursday at 2 pm. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Robin Hood Foundation 826 Broadway 9th floor New York, NY 10003 or Common Grounds Grief Center 67 Taylor Avenue Manasquan, NJ 08736.
