Badgley, Joan F., - 85, of Seaville, NJ, formerly of Washington Twp. and Erlton, NJ, passed away at home surrounded by her family. Joan was born at home in Camden, NJ on December 28, 1931 to the late John W. and Selma A. (Collum) Baxter. She was a graduate of Collingswood High School, Class of 1950. Joan worked many years at Oritani Savings and Loan, and retired as a branch manager. Joan was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed countless hours of gardening, reading and occasional trips to the casino. Joan was the beloved wife of Robert Bond Badgley Sr and is also survived by her children Deborah A. Krzyk, John W. (Lora) Badgley, James E. (Susan) Badgley and Carol L Badgley. She was the loving grandmother of fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and dear sister of Evelyn (Richard) Sullivan. Joan was predeceased by her son Robert B. Badgley Jr, her granddaughter Danielle J. Scavetti and her great-granddaughter Emily Badgley. Joan's Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM at The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ, 08223 were friends may visit from 9:00AM to 10:45AM. Interment will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery, Clermont, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Joan's memory to a charity of your choice.
