Baranowski, Francis J, - 86, of Brigantine, Passed on March 8, 2018, Frank, beloved husband of the late Cecelia Damore-Baranowski (nee Bender). Survived by Ronald (Carol) Damore; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters Irene (John), Katherine, and Veronica; Godson John (Lee); and known as "Uncle Frankie" to loving nieces and nephews. Frank served his country in the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. Upon returning home, he worked for the Philadelphia Inquirer and the City of Philadelphia as a printer. He was a resident of Brigantine, NJ for the last 25 years, and donated his time to various organizations. Frank was a well-known and respected mentor for a recovery program where he helped so many others. He delivered Meals on Wheels in Brigantine and was also a bus driver for dialysis patients. Frank also enjoyed fishing. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Phillies and Eagles. Cremation was held privately. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation with the family on Saturday, March 24 from 10-11am, with a memorial service starting at 11am at the: ORA L. WOOSTER FUNERAL HOME, 51 Park Blvd. Clementon, NJ 08021. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Frank's name to Atlantic Care Hospice, PO Box 1626, Pleasantville, NJ 08232 and/or the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
