BATTLE, SHAUN KEVIN 46 - of Atlantic City, went home to be with the Lord March 26, 2014. Shaun was born in Atlantic City October 29, 1967, to Gladys and John Battle. Shaun attended Atlantic City Public Schools and graduated from Oakcrest High School. Shaun enjoyed helping people and relished his long career in the medical field. After graduating from Prism Career Institute for Medical Billing, he continued to work in the field that brought him joy. Shaun adored his family and cherished the quality time he spent with them. Shaun loved to talk, cook and spend time with his nieces and nephews. Family and friends near and far loved his fried chicken. Shaun is preceded in death by his father. Left to keep Shaun's memory alive are: his mother, Gladys Battle; brothers, Troy Battle and Mark Longdon; sisters, Pam Bryant (Ollie) and Kim Wallace; nieces, Kaniyah, Ysabel and Sianne; nephews, Kevin and Ollie, II; close friend, John Bunch; and a host of other family and friends. A celebration of Shaun's life will be 11AM, Saturday, April 5, 2014, Allen AME Church, 1717 Bishop Richard Allen Avenue, Atlantic City, where friends may call from 9AM. Arrangements entrusted to Greenidge Funeral Homes, Atlantic City. Condolences may be left at www.greenidgefuneral homes.com

    Gladys, Troy and Pam, so sorry to read this. I remember Shaun as a sweet, funny little boy. Its been over twenty years since I last saw him, but he put a footprint on my heart.
