Bush-Henderson, Ruby, - 76, of Pleasantville, was born October 29th, 1940 in Buchanan, Va. She transitioned into eternal peace on July 14th, 2017. Ruby was last employed at Caesar's Atlantic City; spending 28 years in the Food & Beverage Industry doing what she enjoyed most; service to others with a smile. Ruby's warmth, charm and zest for life touched all who knew her. To have her as a friend was truly a Blessing. Ruby loved nature; as evident in the meticulous manner in which she kept her yard adorned with many colorful varieties of flowers, shrubs and landscape ornaments. Ruby was pre-deceased by her parents, Wallace and Nellie Barnett, her brother Jerry Barnett and 3 sons; Verdale, Victor and Joe Henderson, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Bush, Jr. of Pleasantville, NJ. Daughters Sharon Henderson of Atlantic City and Velecia Bush of Mays Landing; her sons Troy of Somers Point and Gardner of Pleasantville, sisters Diane Pender of Maryland and Geraldine Hunt of Atlantic City, brother Wallace E. Barnett, Jr. of Virginia. Eight grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces and friends who will miss her dearly. Home Going services will be held Thursday, July 20th at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 353 South New Road, Pleasantville, NJ. Viewing 9:00AM-11, services at 11:00AM.
