CAPELLI, THOMAS A. - of Egg Harbor Twp., born October 7, 1932 died in his home on April 7, 2014. Tom proudly served four years active duty in the Army during the Korean Conflict, at which time he was awarded the Soldier's Medal of Valor. Afterward, he served 22 years in the Army and Air Force Reserves. Tom retired from Bally's Casino as a union carpenter. He then went on to become a certified personal trainer at the Jewish Community Center and Tilton Fitness Club. Still not satisfied with retirement, Tom went back to work for another 11 years at Bally's Casino and the Sheraton Hotel, utilizing his old skills as a banquet bartender. Tom is survived by his wife of 43 years, Anita; his children, Anita (Joe), Tom, and Scott; his grandchildren, Audrey, Jennifer, Joseph, and Seamus; and his brother, Anthony (Marge). He will be sadly missed. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11:00am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A visitation will be held from 9:30am until the time of the service. Interment will be held in Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor.
