DeHAVEN, RUTH E. (NEE WILSEY) 78 - of Beesley's Point, NJ passed away on Thurs, April 3, 2014 at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point. Born in Sea Isle City, NJ, she had been an area resident all her life. She was a graduate of Ocean City High School class of 1954 and received her Nursing Degree from Methodist Hospital in 1957. Mrs. DeHaven worked as a Registered Nurse for Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, NJ for 39 years before her retirement. Surviving are her husband, Edmund R. DeHaven of Beesley's Point, NJ, two daughters, Linda Hayes (Christopher) of South Dennis, NJ, Denise A. Bradley (Stephen) of Ocean View, NJ, a son, Edmund J. DeHaven of Cape May Court House, NJ, seven grandchildren, Jessica, David, Katelyn, Kelsey, Joshua, Cara, Collin, and a brother, George Wilsey of Melbourne, FL. Her Funeral Service will be offered Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ where friends may call from ten o'clock until the time of service. Burial will follow in Seaville Methodist Cemetery, Seaville, NJ. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 20 North Shore Road, Marmora, NJ 08223.
