Good, William E., - 72, of Somers Point, NJ, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 in Shore Medical Center, Somers Point, NJ. Born in Altoona, PA he had lived many years in Ocean City before moving to Somers Point 22 years ago. Chief Master Sargent Good was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam, and an active member of the NJ Air National Guard specializing in telecommunications. Upon his retirement he joined The Semcon Group, LLC working out of the FAA Tech Center in Pomona, NJ. Predeceased by his parents: James and Freda, and two brothers: Ron and Roger Good. Surviving are his wife: Ruth (nee Montagna) Good, three daughters: Laura (Sherry Glattstein) Good of Roswell, GA, Marcia (Ed) Terry of Beesley's Point, NJ, and Nancy (Bob) Mensch of Palermo, NJ. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Vincent and Sophia Terry, Billy, Ally and Elizabeth Mensch, two brothers: Larry (Angie) Good, Bob (Jeanette) Good and a sister: Judy Elliott. Also survived by Nancy and Mary Jane White who he cared for as if they were his own. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ. A Mass of Resurrection will be offered Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from The Church of the Resurrection of St. Maximillian Kolbe Parish, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora, NJ where friends may call from 10 o'clock until time of mass.
