Grando, Rose (Romano), - 88, of Minotola, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 29, 2016. Rose was born in Buena Vista Twp. to the late Lorenzo and Mary (Spera) Romano. She graduated in 1945 from Vineland High School. Rose worked for the family business, Vineland Transit Mix as the office manager and bookkeeper until her retirement. She loved going to the casinos, baking Italian cookies and making homemade ravioli. Above all her greatest joy was spending time with her family, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Victoria & Norman Coltri, Maria & Frank Medio Sr. and Rose Marie & Robert Schroer; grandchildren, Frank Jr. & Kimberly Medio, Jason & Laura Medio, Michael Medio and Anthony & Jane Medio, Kevin Coltri & Mel, Cori Rose Schroer and Sabrina Schroer; nine great-grandchildren and her brother & sister-in-law, Frank & Vivienne Romano. Along with her parents, Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael P Grando Jr. and her 6 siblings. A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday from 10am to 12pm followed by a funeral service at noon from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Our Lady Of Victories Cemetery, Landisville. ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360. May you find comfort in these words found at 1Cor. 1:3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.
