GUADAGNO, NANCY (WILLIAMS) 73 - of Ocean City, passed away on April 5, 2014 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, NJ. Nancy was born in Vineland to the late Charles & Rosetta Williams on June 18, 1940. She graduated from Vineland High School and attended Wesley College in Wilmington, DE. She lived in Texas for a short while, which she loved, however while home visiting in New Jersey she meet and fell in love with the love of her life Mike Guadagno and moved back to NJ permanently. They were married for 50 beautiful years and truly made a great team until his unexpected death in 2010. Mike was dazzled by her beauty, wit and brilliance. Their love for each other was genuine and an inspiration to all. Nancy had a very diverse career, a jack of all trades and master of all. She worked as a medical assistant, executive assistant to the president of Tropicana Hotel & Casino and most recently the owner/operator of Maggie's Carolina Cafe in Atlantic City. Nancy did not suffer fools gladly and was known for her intelligence, quick wit and ability to get things done, dotting the i's and crossing the t's. Her greatest source of pride however was her role of wife, mother and grandmother. She was a voracious reader and computer aficionado. She and Mike served as mentors and surrogate family to all who entered their home, their daughter Anita's friends became part of the family as did their grandson Mikey's friends. Their home was a safe place, a warm haven to all who entered, who can forget holiday meals, Nancy's pies and all the love and laughter in their home? She is survived by her daughter, Anita (Guadagno) Lince; grandson, Michael "Mikey" Lince; brother, Charles I. Williams Jr.; sister-in-law & husband, Teresa Winslow (Richard); sister-in-law & husband, Margurite & Ron Koons; and several nieces & nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Michael Guadagno. Funeral Home Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 9 from 1pm to 2pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2 pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland, NJ. Donations in memory of Nancy may be made to: South Jersey Field of Dreams, 1000 Bay Avenue, West Atlantic City, NJ 08234.
