Holland, James Edward, - 71, of Pleasantville, NJ passed into eternal life on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 surrounded by family and friends. James was born in Bartow, Florida in 1945 to the late Parrish Holland, Sr. and the late Beluah (James) Holland. James worked at Vienna Inn of Cologne, NJ, The Villa Perez in Egg Harbor Twp., and 9 years at Atlantic County. He was employed at Lenox China in Pomona for 34 years and lastly employed at the Atlantic Human Resource in Atlantic City for 5 years before retiring. He is survived by his wife Judith A. Holland Daughters: Monica M. Holland-Burse (Jeffrey) and Traci L. Holland (Corey) of Pleasantville: Niece: Ariayn Deleon-Jetter of Philadelphia, Pa. Grandchildren: Amanda, Brandon, James, Brandi, Jami, Jodi, Joshua, Isaiah, and Jordan. Eight great grandchildren: Imani, James III, Maison, Semaj, Eva, Skylnn, Jonah and Erin. Three God daughters: Jeanette Abney-Boskett, Chasity T. Evans, and Jodi M. Harris. Siblings: Bessie Kato, Minnie Lee Holland, Pearl Clark, Louella Gardener, Lois Fant, and Glen Holland. Sister in laws: Edith, Crystal, Gloria Lee, Vivan Hudson, and Lisa Drapper. Brother in laws: Lloyd, Fant, John W Collette, Jr., and Charles Lee. Also a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 03, 2016, at 11:00AM, at St.Paul A.M.E. Church 1203 Harrison Ave, Pleasantville, NJ; where family and friends may view from 8:00AM until 11:00AM. My sincere sympathy to you and your dear love ones. May you find comfort in these words found at 1Cor. 1:3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. The comfort that we can get from God regarding our decease is that at John 5:28-29 talks about a resurrection hope on earth. So the resurrection tells us about Jehovah's love and undeserved kindness.
