Hurlburt, Warren D., - 78, went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care in The Villages, Florida. He was born in Queens, New York to Dorothy (Lynch) and Herbert Hurlburt and was the youngest of four children. Warren worked in the financial district in New York City and lived and raised his family in Hazlet, New Jersey. Warren then moved to Port Republic, New Jersey to be near his grown children and grandchildren before retiring to The Villages in Florida. Warren was warm-hearted, easy going, loved Yankee baseball games, a good joke, dinners with family and friends and a fine beer. Above all he was always a loving and caring husband, father and friend. Warren is survived by his devoted wife and faithful companion of nearly 57 years Mary Ann, his sister and brother in-law Virginia and Arthur Schnetzer of The Villages, Florida, His daughter Michele and husband Vincent Gennello of Las Vegas, Nevada, daughter Denise and husband George Dussack of Galloway, New Jersey and grandchildren George Dussack III and Gianna Gennello. Warren was much loved and will forever be remembered as a bright shining light by his family and close friends. My hope is to share a measure of comfort that has helped me when loosing a loved one. I love how in John 5:28,29 God promises to bring back those who have died by means of a resurrection,fulfilling this promise on earth.(Revelation 21:3,4)
