Meyer, Catherine Wallis "Rose", - of Woodstown, NJ, formerly of North Wildwood, NJ and Philadelphia, PA died peacefully on November 7, 2017. Rose grew up in Philadelphia where she attended Ascension of Our Lord Parish and graduated from Little Flower High School for Girls. Rose was a secretary for many years at Garret's Paper Company in Philadelphia and was the owner of "Meyer's General Merchandise" in the Kensington section of Philadelphia and "Whale of a Deal" in North Wildwood, NJ. She belonged to the John Laudenslager American Legion Post 366 where she held the position of President and Vice President of the Women's Auxiliary. She loved spending time at her beach house in North Wildwood, entertaining family and friends there. She enjoyed traveling to Virginia to visit her daughter Jackie and loved Myrtle Beach. Rose is survived by her daughters Jackie Hasson (husband Keith) of Virginia, Sandi Cook (husband Jeff) of Myrtle Beach, her grand daughters Taylor Cook, Kyla Hasson, and Allison Cook. She is also survived by nieces Patricia, Donna, Diane, Dawn and nephew Gregory along with numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband John (Jack), brothers Fred and Johnny Wallis and granddaughter Brianna Leigh. She will be interred next to her husband in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Cape May, NJ. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ 08098 with a visitation from 10 to 11 AM followed by the service at 11 AM.
