Pierce, Alfred P. "Hap", - 95, of Seaville, NJ passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at his home. Born in Pleasantville, NJ, he was a WWII Veteran of the United States Army, and served in the 323rd Infantry Regiment, 81st Infantry Division, in the Pacific Theater, before receiving his honorable discharge. Mr. Pierce worked for Sears Roebuck in Philadelphia, PA as a Regional Manager for Catalog franchise stores, and he and his family were avid Flyers and Phillies fans. Mr. Pierce was a member of the Knights of Columbus at Church of the Resurrection in Marmora NJ. Surviving are his wife, Jeanne Pierce (nee Lang) of Seaville, NJ, four children, Ellen Savarese (Michael) of Easthampton, NJ, Jeffrey Pierce (Angel) of Marlton, NJ, Betsy Pierce of Seaville, NJ, Nancy Williams (Tim) of Ocean City, NJ, and five grandchildren, Samuel, Melanie, Jacob, Tyler and Leah. A Memorial Mass will be offered Saturday, January 20, 2018 at one o'clock in the afternoon from Church of the Resurrection of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora, NJ where friends may call from twelve o'clock until the time of mass. Burial is private.
