I have been an ardent fan of the "new" Atlantic City since its rebirth in 1978. My wife and I visit Atlantic City at least once a month. Even though several of the Pennsylvania casinos are closer than Atlantic City, we still prefer to "Do AC."

However, one of the events that previously drew us to Atlantic City was allowed to relocate to Brooklyn this year. As an alumnus of St. Joseph's University, I always made a point of seeing at least one game at the Atlantic 10 Tournament at Boardwalk Hall. We live just about 35 miles from Brooklyn, in Morris County, but it never crossed my mind to go to Brooklyn for the tournament.

Las Vegas, which we have also visited a couple of times, held four of the NCAA championship basketball tournaments this year. But Atlantic City could not even keep the one that it had.

With the restructuring of the A-10, maybe Brooklyn doesn't want it any more. You managed to get the Miss America Pageant back from Las Vegas. Is anyone trying to get the A-10 back to Atlantic City? Can I help in some way?
