Osprey Banding
A chirping parent osprey circles the nest as one of it's chicks is banded by the students. Hans Toft, natural science teacher at Cape May County Technical High School, and a volunteer group of his students, ventured into the back-bay marshes between the high school and Stone Harbor, to count and band nested osprey chicks as part of the state's bird banding program.
