Osprey Banding
The orange eye of an osprey chick looks up as the bird and it's sibling lay low in the nest sensing danger. Hans Toft, natural science teacher at Cape May County Technical High School, and a volunteer group of his students, ventured into the back-bay marshes between the high school and Stone Harbor, to count and band nested osprey chicks as part of the state's bird banding program.
