Galloway Township

Galloway Township Police responded to 635 calls for service Feb. 28-March 6, including:

65 emergency medical calls

11 fire calls

4 domestic violence calls

19 motor vehicle accidents

1 burglary

59 tickets issued.

A 20-year-old man from Atlantic City was arrested Feb. 28 and charged with possession of CDS and possession of CDS with intent to distribute.

A 44-year-old man from Galloway Township was arrested March 2 and charged with resisting arrest and improper behavior.

A 36-year-old man from Absecon was arrested March 3 and charged with disorderly conduct.

A 31-year-old man from Egg Harbor Township was arrested March 5 and charged with five counts of possession of CDS, two counts of possession of CDS with intent to distribute and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

A 56-year-old man from Atlantic City was arrested March 5 and charged with hindering apprehension and four outstanding warrants.

A 24-year-old woman from Toms River was arrested March 5 and charged with hindering apprehension.

A 35-year-old man from Tobyhanna, Pa., was arrested March 6 and charged with DWI.

There were 11 warrant arrests.

Atlantic County Sheriff's Office

A 42-year-old man from Galloway Townshipwas arrested March 3 on a possession of stun gun and certain persons not to have weapon bench warrant.

A 41-year-old man from Galloway Township was arrested March 4 on a narcotics bench warrant.

A 33-year-old man from Galloway Township was arrested March 4 on a municipal warrant from Egg Harbor Township.

A 30-year-old from Galloway Township was arrested March 7 on an aggravated assault and threatens violence bench warrant, on a warrant for non-support and a municipal warrant from Pleasantville.
