A roundtable for political candidates to discuss issues important to the local business community — including economic growth and development — will be held Oct. 22 in Atlantic City.

Mayoral candidates for Atlantic City, including Democratic incumbent Lorenzo Langford and Republican challenger Don Guardian, are participating in the event hosted by the Greater Atlantic City Chamber. Also included are Atlantic County freeholder candidates Will Pauls and Rich Dase, both Republicans, and Democrats Bard Shober, Ernest Coursey and Brandi Endicott, according to a release from the chamber.

Participants also include state Senate District 2 Democratic incumbent James Whelan and Republican challenger Frank Balles, and Assembly District 2 Republican incumbents John Amodeo and Chris Brown and Democratic challengers Vince Mazzeo, the mayor of Northfield, and Nick Russo, mayor of Longport.

The event is set for 5 to 7 p.m. at the Tropicana Hotel Casino.
